Filing Friday? Is that a thing? #stoptalkingugly 🤣 I do not like to file, but I always seem to overhaul my filing after doing my taxes and it feels great! I also now file as many office supplies as I can because it’s so space efficient and easy to use. If anyone has other suggestions of what can be filed I’d love to hear them! 🤩

I’m so thankful today! These two bring so much fun and adventure and love into my life - I love getting to be your mama! Thankful for my own amazing mom @ggcarter8 and all that she has poured into me. #beforeandafter 🙌🏻 I’ve waited about six months for this shelf! I had no idea how hard it would be to find what I wanted and I almost caved on some that were less than perfect. I’m so glad I kept searching! This was a steal for $10+spray paint at my local thrift shop - swipe to see the before! Just an encouraging reminder! 💕😚

We tend to frame the photos we love the most don’t we? I spent yesterday hand scanning my client’s framed photos. I brought my scanners and my trusty butter knife and now every beautifully displayed memory has been scanned and preserved for her family. Some photos were originals dating back to the 1930’s. One day this 2017 photo will be just as precious to my future great grandchildren, so I try to follow a few rules when displaying photography: No direct sunlight and use UV glass when you can, display a duplicate instead of the original, professionally scan anything prior to the digital age and consider swapping out frames older than ten years. Sometimes old frames are heirlooms, and in that instance, take them apart each year to make sure they aren’t stuck and display them far away from windows. 💕#photoscanning #wemakehousecalls #photoorganizer #oldphotos #framedphotography #saveyourphotos

My “Gift Gauntlet” is over for the year! 🤪🎉 Between Thanksgiving and March in my house there are major holidays and birthdays all back to back. I learned quickly to save time and money by being very organized with the party supplies. Every home stores some amount of these items and finding a spot and a solution can be tricky. Three rules to keeping it under control:
1 Dedicated Storage Space (do not let these items grow beyond the space you have allowed);
New Purchases must have a definite use within the next year (don’t let sales and the cuteness get the better of you);
AND, Store it Smart! (Gather like with like and then arrange by color, in labeled, protective containers). Effective solutions can be done behind a door, under a bed, above the fridge, etc... and can be as fancy or as simple as you want to make it. We have another birthday in the house! 🥳 She gets to hand these fun krispy treats out to her schoolmates tomorrow. 💕I have started to accumulate enough sprinkles and other baking items to contain them in their own box. I have done this for years and it makes storing them much easier. Especially after removing unnecessary packaging. 👋🏻 I also will combine small amounts of leftover sprinkles to avoid wasting space and create fun combos. 🌈😁 I would love to one day organize a baker’s sprinkle collection in ROYGBV🤣🙏🏻. #dreams #nerd #organizing #sprinklesmakeeverythingbetter

Working on our class Valentines! Due to runny noses I had to put things together with what I already had. I try to keep clutter from forming by using what I have first. ❤️ I had a few pieces of gingham card stock that gave a cute backing to these printable valentines and then to my delight, the scrap pieces worked as a decorative wrapper on these @tonyschocolonely_us chocolates. So often I am happier with my “making do” then if I had bought something new at the store. I’ve shared today on stories a few other free printables I found. How do you make sure you remember all the to-do’

How do you make sure you remember all the to-do’s? Especially when they seem to pile extra high like mine have this month! Using visual cues and assigning dates/times to tasks can keep you from feeling overwhelmed and stay on track. I personally love the reusable post-it file tabs. Swipe over for a close up. I use my label maker to add a day of the week and I start paper clipping all the tasks together by their assigned day. I’ve also created portable file totes that go in and out of the car with me when needed.
